YOUTH CHOIR CLINIC

On Thursday 18 May 2023 (Ascension Day), CantaRode organizes a youth choir clinic in HuB Kerkrade. The clinic will end with a spectacular performance during the opening concert CantaRode 2023 in the Parkstad Limburg Theater Kerkrade.

Workshop leader
The clinic will be led by Maria Guinand from Venezuela. She is an authority in the field of youth choir singing.

Who?
Participation is possible for youth choirs and/or members of youth choirs.
Individual singers can also participate (ages 10 to 18).
Conductors of youth choirs are cordially invited to attend the clinic and can talk to Maria Guinand during lunch.

Program
• 12:00 – 13:30: lunch with Maria Guinand and conductors
• 14.00 – 16.00: workshop part 1
• 16.00 – 16.30: break with refreshments and drinks
• 16.30 – 18.00: workshop part 2
• 18.00 – 18.30: walk-through in Parkstad Limburg Theaters, location Kerkrade
• 18.30 – 19.30: shared meal with sandwiches and drinks
• 20.00 hrs: performance during Opening concert CantaRode 2023

Language
The workshop will be given in English and German. The youth choir conductors present will, where necessary, help with translation into Dutch.

Participation costs € 10,- p.p. (incl. meal).
