The International Festival Competition
The Festival Competition forms the artistic heart of CantaRode. On Friday 7 and Saturday 8 May, the participating choirs will perform in two competition rounds at PLT Kerkrade.
A professional international jury will evaluate the performances, bringing together a range of musical backgrounds and perspectives.
From competition to connection
CantaRode extends far beyond the competition stage. Participating choirs will perform at concerts across the Euregio, meet fellow choirs throughout the festival and, on Saturday, join choirs from Kerkrade and the surrounding region to fill the city with music during CantaKerkrade.
