Stockholm Singers

Stockholm Singers is a renowned chamber choir from Sweden, founded in 2005 by conductor Bo Aurehl. The choir consists of approximately 25 experienced singers and performs a wide-ranging repertoire, spanning from the Renaissance to contemporary music, with a particular focus on Swedish choral works. The ensemble interprets compositions by Palestrina, Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Schönberg, Martin, Britten, and Kodály.
Stockholm Singers has successfully participated in international choral competitions and frequently serves as a workshop choir for conducting courses. In addition to regular performances, the choir is actively engaged in recording projects.
Conductor
Bo Aurehl is an experienced Swedish conductor, recognized for his refined interpretations and diverse repertoire choices. As the founder and conductor of Stockholm Singers, he has led the ensemble since 2005, focusing on music from the Renaissance to contemporary works. Under his leadership, the choir has achieved international success in competitions and concerts.
Beyond his conducting work, Aurehl is actively involved as a workshop leader and educator, mentoring young conductors and contributing to the development of choral music in Sweden and beyond.
