The Polifonica Chamber Choir from Minsk, Belarus, is an award-winning mixed choir, founded in 2010 by Olga Ivanova. The choir is renowned for its refined a cappella performances and diverse repertoire, ranging from medieval to contemporary music. With innovative concert programs, Polifonica is dedicated to promoting choral music through new compositions, workshops, and educational projects.
The choir has performed in 33 countries and has won prizes at prestigious competitions in Japan, Austria, the Czech Republic, the UK, Portugal, and Italy. Highlights include performances on BBC Radio, diplomatic missions in Tokyo, and the United Nations in 2024. Recently, Polifonica won a silver prize at an international competition and released the album Eastern Polyphony, featuring authentic music by Belarusian composers.
