This group started their education in August 2020 and consists of one nature science class and one social science class. On their repertoire they have several works a cappella by composers of both ancient and modern music, as well as Mozart Requiem.

The different choirs of Stockholms Musikgymnasium (Upper Secondary School of Music) play a prominent part in the musical life of Stockholm and are involved in projects with production companies, “Rikskonserter” and the Swedish Radio. They have given concerts at Stockholm´s tri-annual New Music Festival. International contacts have resulted in concert tours to among other places Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Finland, Estonia, China and South Africa.

Helene Stureborg – conductor
For more than thirty years Helene Stureborg has been working as a choral conductor and  pedagogue at Stockholms Musikgymnasium/Kungsholmens gymnasium. The school is the leading choir school for students in the age of 16-19 in Sweden. She is also conductor of Stockholms Musikgymnasium Chamber choir since 2002. The choir has won several prizes at competitions abroad and is highly  esteemed. They were invited as one of 24 choirs invited at WSCM2020 in Auckland.
